  • Overview

    We're looking for someone who loves art direction, coming up with the big ideas and being able to be a partner and be the front line contact to our client when necessary.   You will be managing junior talent.  You will own the room.  


    Assists in providing creative direction to Creative teams and for the development, design and production of creative concepts. Understands briefs and works with the Account Services, Creative, and Production Departments to refine direction if required. 


    This position requires heavy digital experience and an advertising or marketing agency background. 

    What you'll do:

    • You'll be working with a 360 model, with the exception of television. 
    • Creating video content.  
    • Responsible for the creation, conceptualization and design of websites, e-mail, social , new initiatives, direct mail.   Digital experience is a must.  
    • Ensure concepts developed by the agency are on strategy, practical and cost-effective to produce.
    • Assist in the development of creative work for new business pitches.
    • Present creative work to client as needed. 
    • Ensure the creative work of the agency is produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control.
    • Recommend improvements and changes to the agency’s processes and procedures and employ best.
    • Develop and grow the skills and experience of the creative team and seek and hire new talent as required

    Who you are:

    • High level of understanding in art direction, graphic design and interactive including page layout, typography and illustration.  
    • Understanding of integrated direct marketing principles.
    • Proven staff management skills with experience in handling direct reports.
    • Highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects, and allocate work to the remainder of the team.
    • Strong understanding of strategic direction.
    • Excellent conceptual and design skills.
    • Very highly skilled and efficient in the use of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, including the ability to make changes quickly and accurately.
    • Very accurate with high attention to detail.
    • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.




    • Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 7 years experience preferred.
    • Portfolio focused on digital experience, direct mail, e-mail.
