  • Overview

    The Senior Art Director provides direction to Creative teams and for the development, design and production of award-winning creative concepts and digital campaigns. With a comprehensive understanding of briefs, the Senior Art Director partners with Account Services, Creative, and Production Departments to refine direction, if required.

    What you'll do:

    • Develop, create, conceptualize and design digital campaigns and projects through rounds of internal and external revisions; build comps for client presentations and mechanicals to vendors or internal development teams
    • Partner with Copywriters and Account Services to develop strategic concepts and executions from creative brief through completion of project
    • Ensure concepts developed by the agency are on-strategy, practical and cost-effective to produce, and are aligned with campaign strategy and best-in-class technology
    • Provide creative direction and inspiration to the creative team
    • Art direct photo shoots as needed
    • Remain up-to-date on the latest developments in software applications and production technology

    Who you are:

    • A savvy Art Director with first-hand knowledge of integrated digital direct marketing principles, excellent conceptual, design, and sketching skills, and a strong grasp of how to shape and interpret strategic direction
    • You’ve personally designed best-in-class emails, integrated marketing campaigns, landing pages and social media content; you’ve utilized dynamic content, animation and custom brand assets
    • A valuable and effective leader who can motivate, inspire, manage and mentor other creative talent
    • A Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Keynote wizard; you can make changes quickly and accurately; experience with Sketch and InVision a strong plus
    • Highly organized able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and roll with the punches
    • Accustomed to handling multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detail
    • An excellent communicator and compelling presenter


    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Design or Art Director role in an agency or professional services environment
    • Wide ranging portfolio with a strong digital emphasis including direct marketing campaigns, conceptual, design and production expertise
