    Rauxa is seeking a savvy, experienced marketing agency professional who is equal parts head, heart and hustle for a VP, Account Services position in our San Francisco office!

     

    The VP, Account Services will have a head for strategic customer marketing, a heart for driving innovative solutions to client business problems, and the hustle necessary to get the job done in a fast-moving environment.   In this role, your focus will be on leading strategic development, creative development, testing/analytics, and optimization of lifecycle programs delivered through 1:1 channels such as, email, digital, social media, and direct mail for assigned client accounts, managing and mentoring a team, building and growing strong client relationships and assisting the SVP, Managing Director with new business efforts.

     

    This position requires a self-starter from a digital or marketing agency with an ability to work effectively with agency colleagues across departments and office locations, an advanced understanding of 1:1 communications and experience leading development of CRM programs and multi-channel integrated campaigns across online and offline channels.

    What you'll do:

    • Be the account lead for assigned client accounts, maintaining direct, day-to-day, senior level client contact 
    • Proactively provide the client with thought leadership and strategic guidance, determining the best solutions to fulfill the needs of the client
    • Collaborate with agency partners and department leads to deliver world-class work to our clients on time, on strategy, on budget, and with superior quality
    • Be an advocate for client needs across departments within Rauxa to provide superior client service
    • Maintain a superior level of knowledge in all aspects of one-on-one relationship marketing, digital marketing and of CRM best practices
    • Maintain a superior knowledge of data analytics and clearly articulate the value it adds to our clients
    • Drive delivery of data driven insights and analytics to inform campaign optimization
    • Effectively present, sell, and defend all agency work and proposals to clients
    • Directly manage escalated client issues, partnering with Account Leadership team to define appropriate responses
    • Work with department leads across offices to develop detailed and accurate statements of work and project plans
    • Guide the Account team to manage project profitability and drive topline revenue growth 
    • Actively seek additional projects/new business from client contacts and prospects
    • Work with SVP, Managing Director of San Francisco office on new business opportunities

    Who you are:

    • A strategic direct marketer and thought leader with extensive knowledge of 1:1 marketing and experience leading CRM programs and multi-channel integrated campaigns (e.g. email, direct mail, digital, social media, print, etc.)
    • Proven leader with demonstrated ability to sell in strategic solutions and recommendations to clients, including opportunities for optimizing programs based on performance
    • Strong understanding of data analytics and CRM campaign metrics including how to analyze and interpret results
    • An excellent communicator with strong meeting facilitation and stand-up presentation skills
    • Skilled in writing a killer data-rich presentation that tells a clear, persuasive story
    • Outstanding project and process management and follow up skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and agency colleagues  
    • A creative problem solver with exceptional analytical skills
    • An entrepreneurial and flexible, self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, dynamic work environments
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

     

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or have equivalent work experience
    • 12 years of experience in an Account Service role at an advertising, digital or marketing agency
    • You have proven success in acquiring new business/growing client accounts in an Account Service role at an agency in the past 4 years
    • Prior experience managing teams.
