  • Overview

    The EVP, Account Services (EVP, AS) is a senior agency executive and thought leader who will establish the vision and strategy for how Rauxa will enable a top-tier client to achieve its business goals.  Responsibilities include developing game-changing, data-driven strategies, providing ongoing thought leadership and delivering transformational ideas that use data and technology to bring the client’s business to the next level.

     

    As the most senior account leader dedicated to this client account, the EVP, AS has ultimate responsibility for driving revenue, growth, profitability and delivery of agency services on the business.  He or she must be a seasoned agency professional with a proven track record of strategically leading fortune 50 client accounts and launching transformational marketing campaigns for them in partnership with C-Suite stakeholders.  

     

    The EVP, AS will have a data-driven perspective on the marketing landscape with the proven ability to use data and technology as modern levers for driving strategy and change and demonstrated  experience as a thought leader in data-driven, relationship marketing, CRM and digital marketing.

     

    What you'll do:

    • Be proactive in providing the client with strategic guidance, thought leadership and ideas that will help the client achieve their business objectives
      • Leverage data, analytics and technology to inform strategic POVs
    • Partner with other Rauxa senior executives (primarily the Chief Creative Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Intelligence Officer and VP, Technology) to deliver exceptional creative and transformational ideas that are on brand, on strategy, exceed client expectations and are inspired by strategies and insights that use data and technology to drive change
    • Understand the client’s business ensuring that Rauxa is providing the highest level of innovative strategic thinking and creativity to aid the client in meeting business objectives
    • Champion ideas that push client and agency teams outside of their comfort zones in order to improve performance and constantly innovate
    • Effectively present, sell, and defend all agency work/proposals to clients
    • Collaborate with Rauxa colleagues across offices, evangelizing best practices, recommending appropriate solutions, and ensuring that Rauxa delivers the best possible product to clients with impeccable service and professionalism
    • Assume overall P&L responsibility for the business, including account revenue and profit, growth and delivery
    • Keep appraised of all relevant client products/services/marketing developments as well as relevant marketing industry trends in data and technology
    • Lead, inspire and mentor a team and conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports

     

     

    Who you are:

     

    • A senior Account leader who has spent the past 10 years launching well-known 360 campaigns for fortune 50 brands across direct, digital and offline channels
    • An extremely strategic, hands-on thought leader with proven success in delivering transformational ideas to clients that are inspired by innovative strategies leveraging data and technology to drive the business and partnering with C-Suite leaders to bring ideas to life
    • A natural born communicator with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and stand-up presentation abilities
    • Dynamic leader with outstanding presence, charisma and team building skills
    • A self-starter with an ability to work well in a flexible, dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment
    • A proven problem solver and analytical thinker with gravitas
    • A thought leader and ideally a key note speaker at industry events

    Other Required Experience:

    • BA/BS degree required; MBA a plus.
    • A minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in digital, direct and data marketing, advertising, media, production and related disciplines
    • Past 10 years spent in Account Service at agencies offering direct marketing, digital, technology and advertising services to clients
    • Expertise in Relationship Marketing, CRM, Direct, and Digital Marketing
    • Proven success in client management at a senior level and in leading fortune 50 client accounts at an agency
    • Telecommunications category experience is a plus
    • Understanding of Marketing Automation, platforms and technologies, as well as content marketing, social and mobile marketing is desired
    • Demonstrated measurable strategic experience and sales ability
    • Team leadership/management experience
    • Demonstrated thought leadership.
