    Rauxa is seeking an Account Manager to join the Rauxa team in the San Francisco office. This is an opportunity to join the largest, independent, woman-owned advertising agency in the country at a time of incredible growth and potential, while having high visibility to agency leadership within a small office environment. 

     

    The Account Manager is responsible for managing cross-channel engagements on assigned client accounts, leading the agency team to successful completion of all project work, and overseeing internal resources with direct responsibility for delivering work on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.  The ideal candidate has proven experience managing the planning, production and delivery of multi-channel campaigns (online, offline) in an Account Service role at an advertising agency.  This person is an entrepreneurial problem-solver with stellar project management skills who can produce high quality work in a fast-moving environment while juggling multiple complex projects.  The individual should also have a solid understanding of effective marketing strategy and builds great personal and professional relationships with colleagues and clients.

     

    What you'll do:

    • Manage the planning and delivery of a wide variety of project types (TV, digital, social, direct mail, email, data, strategy, etc.) while building lasting relationships with clients and agency team members.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in all areas of an assigned client’s business, being the day-to-day client contact focused on execution and representing the voice of the client in all internal discussions.
    • Work with department leads to ensure all commitments are properly articulated to the assigned resources and tracked accurately to assess scope changes with their impact on the schedule and budget.
    • Accurately manage budgets, client billing, and accounts receivable to maintain profitable projects and client accounts.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, developing detailed schedules, job launch briefs, and meeting notes for all assigned projects and distribute as necessary to team members and clients.
    • Effectively train and mentor Account Coordinator.

     

     

     

     

     

    Who you are:

    • You have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of work experience in an account management role at a marketing or advertising agency.
    • You have experience with multiple marketing channels such as, TV, radio, digital, social, direct mail, print and email, including their production processes.
    • You have a solid understanding of marketing best-practices with knowledge of digital marketing.
    • You are a proven leader with outstanding project management skills and an ability to manage several very complex projects with minimal supervision.
    • You have excellent organizational skills, including attention to precise details and accuracy.
    • You are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and a strong presenter.  
    • You have the ability to present the agency to various levels of the client organization.
    • You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, highly dynamic atmosphere and react quickly to changes.
    • You have demonstrated creative problem solving and analytical skills.
