    As a Strategic Planner at Rauxa, you will be responsible for developing strategic briefs and recommendations grounded in insights and data that meet client objectives and add value to the client’s brand and product.   To qualify for this position, you will have had prior experience creating multi-channel digital strategies as a Planner/Strategist at an advertising, marketing or digital agency and preferably have email or eCRM marketing experience. You will have written digital strategy creative briefs and strategic recommendations and have strong research skills.  You will be a strong communicator who can clearly articulate and sell through strategic visions and programs to clients and tell a story through written documents and presentations.  You are flexible, a team player, and stay up to date on digital trends and tactics.  You thrive in fast-moving environments and know how to hustle effectively to get the job done.



    What you'll do:

    • Review client objectives and input and develop short and long-term marketing strategies for the client;
    • Work cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful execution of client and agency strategies;
    • Work with Strategic Planning and Account Services teams to develop and write strategy section of job launch brief;
    • Oversee the strategy of all client campaigns and projects, providing the Creative team direction to ensure the marketing and creative work is on-strategy and on-brand;
    • Ability to develop messaging frameworks, communication tasks, and campaign architecture
    • Provide strategic rigor to the recommendation of communication ideas and channel tactics, ensuring integration of the work between creative and channel/tactic strategy
    • Review Creative concepts through round one and provide additional input or recommendations on client and project strategy;
    • Develop and deliver strategic client presentations;
    • Perform secondary research on industry trends, reports, and consumer trends to develop insights on performance and segmentation;
    • Provide cross channel reviews of other agencies’ work for clients;

    • Able to assess and analyze client objectives to produce and recommend appropriate solutions;
    • Skilled in synthesizing information from various sources and extracting key messages;
    • Highly creative with first-rate conceptual, visual and writing skills;
    • Have excellent oral communication and presentation skills;
    • Have demonstrated client management skills and service orientation;
    • Highly resourceful, with strong research skills and a working knowledge of advanced marketing analytics;
    • Proactive and able to work independently;
    • Have a strong deadline orientation and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines;
    • Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment and with colleagues across offices and time zones;
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
    • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience;
    • Spent at least the last 5 years creating, leading, and selling through digital, direct and/or integrated marketing strategies and solutions to clients at an advertising, digital or marketing agency;
    • You have developed multi-channel digital strategies and briefs (e.g. web, email) and ideally have some experience with email marketing or eCRM.
