    Rauxa is looking for a Copywriter for our Seattle office!

     

    The Copywriter is responsible for the writing interesting, thoughtful copy that encourages the consumer to take action.   The person in this role will take briefs and work with the account service and creative strategy teams to refine direction if required as well as develop, edit and execute concepts through rounds. 

    What you'll do:

    • Develops and executes innovative concepts and copy for cross-channel initiatives including direct mail, digital, social, and traditional marketing communications;
    • Collaborates with Art Directors and Graphic Designers in the development of strategic concepts and executions from creative brief through project completion;
    • Delivers fresh ideas while working with existing brand guidelines;
    • Develops digital campaigns with a sound understanding of usability fundamentals and information design;
    • Collaborates with Strategic Planning to incorporate consumer insights into concepts and executions.

    Who you are:

    • Excellent conceptual and copywriting skills;
    • Strong understanding of integrated direct marketing principles;
    • Can quickly learn and understand clients’ business and competitive landscape;
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, timelines, and direction, as well handle multiple projects between clients;
    • Ability to take direction from Creative Director, and translate that into innovative thinking;
    • Work with minimal supervision;
    • Prioritize workload to ensure all projects are completed in a timely fashion;
    • Handle multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail;
    • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills – can share concepts and ideas to both internal and external teams;
    • Can handle long hours/weekends when client needs require it;
    • Ability to work as part of a team.

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor degree – Journalism, Literature, Communication preferred, or equivalent work experience;
    • 3 - 5 years experience as integrated marketing copywriter;
    • Wide ranging portfolio focused on direct marketing campaigns with a strong print emphasis including conceptual and copy expertise.
