  • Overview

    The Sr. QA Engineer will work alongside our multidisciplinary User Experience, Visual Design, Marketing/Content Strategy and Development/Engineering teams to deliver multiple email campaigns and related landing pages.

    What you'll do:

    • Work with a defined checklist and process to QA creative and campaign functionality
    • Work with the customer and campaign team to understand key campaign parameters and inputs, such as subscriber audience, program frequency, degree of personalization and overall creative approach
    • Develop an appropriate, campaign-specific testing approach
    • Perform functional testing of the email (clicking links, confirming tracking data, etc.) to confirm accuracy
    • Provide assistance and direction to help resolve defects and issues
    • Work closely with project management teams to deliver per schedule and on time
    • Web testing from visual design through HTML templating to final web front-end
    • Front-end HTML/CSS/JS Analysis & Testing
    • HTTP and AJAX Web Sever<>Client Understanding
    • Cross-device/browser/version web testing and analysis
    • Process flexibility and comfort working with many client-specific standards, processes, tools
    • Fully Windows and Mac OS literate. Experienced testing mobile Android and iOS OS's

    Who you are:

    • You have a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Internet Technologies, Computer Science or interdisciplinary)
    • You have 3+ years of related experience
    • You have experience configuring and using JIRA, Bugzilla and other common bug tracking tools
    • You have xperience working with different ESPs including Responsys Interact, ExactTarget etc.
    • You have experience with enterprise CMS systems such as Adobe CQ, Oracle FatWire, SLD Tridion, Autonomy Interwoven TeamSite, or similar.
    • You have experience working in a client-facing consulting role.
    • You are a problem solver who is passionate about new technology.
    • You have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • You are strong listener and communicator relating to note taking (test results documentation) skills with an analytical and methodical approach.
    • You are self-managing and have the ability to adjust to competing priorities and allocating your time and patience as necessary to get the job done.
