  • Overview

    The Lead Solutions Architect is responsible for all back-end aspects of website and application development. He/she is a proactive team leader and player who can work under pressure, prioritize, and deliver to technical specifications. The role requires someone with mastery of object oriented coding concepts and paradigms as well as the ability/desire to quickly learn and master new technologies. Passion to explore and propose efficient solutions to client business problems is a must.

    What you'll do:

    • Plan and execute a framework that facilitates presentation-layer development with clean separation between application layers. 
    • Approach development with modularity in mind to accommodate shifting priorities and the challenges associated with rapid prototyping and Agile methodologies. 
    • Multi-task and quickly produce interim deliverables (such as components, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.). 
    • Review/analyze information architecture and wireframes, work with team members to resolve gaps, and assist with the architectural implementation of creative/UX direction. 
    • Take the initiative to research and learn emerging technologies that may improve the quality, efficiency, and performance of deliverables. 
    • Have the ability to influence and lead projects and drive the technical direction of a product. 
    • Experience interfacing with clients and working in a fast paced agency setting. 
    • Participate in project scoping and planning, write detailed level technical and functional specifications documentation, and help mentor junior Architect s. 
    • Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. 
    • Work well as a team member within technology and other disciplines (creative, delivery management, etc.) on large accounts, understanding how a team operates and what is expected of the various roles on the project. 
    • Communicate effectively on project status and quickly identifies impediments to development such as high-risk technology, or misunderstood client requirements. 
    • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. 
    • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. 


    Who you are:

    • You have experience with full stack development both front end and back end. 
    • You have a BS Degree in a Technical Field, e.g., Computer Science, Information Science or related discipline plus 6+ years of experience with Java, .NET, and/or other object-oriented languages.
    • You have extensive enterprise solution experience across multiple stacks, ie: Java, Dot Net, Lamp, etc. 
    • You experience developing components and applications on CMS platforms such as AEM, Drupal, WordPress, Acquia, Sitecore. 
    • You have 5 years experience as a Senior Developer on multiple projects. 
    • You design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints. 
    • You know how to integrate enterprise technologies to work in a seamless application. 
    • You have experience developing for emerging touch screen, internet-enabled devices (iPhone/iPad, Android, kiosks, etc.), with knowledge of their abilities and constraints. 
    • You have experience developing scalable systems, knowing when and where to optimize.
    • You have the ability to be the key software Architect across multiple accounts.
    • You have strong abilities to work with clients and internal teams to define technology methodologies and software solutions.
    • You have the ability to lead a team of Developers and Architect client solutions.
