Overview

Rauxa is seeking an Associate Creative Director who will be responsible for the development of compelling communications that drive response, enhance brands and create consumer-to-consumer dialogs.  This person will write creative briefs and works with Account, Strategy, Data, and Creative teams to develop concepts and strategies.  Oversee and execute cross-channel concepts through rounds and release.  In certain cases, serves as day to day creative lead on specified account(s).

What you'll do:

  • You will be responsible for the creation, conceptualization and copywriting of campaigns;
  • You will be responsible for managing the work of Copywriter and Art Director teams;
  • You will lead and provides creative direction and inspiration to teams;
  • You will develop and writes creative copy that is innovative and compelling in line with client brand
  • You will ensure concepts and copy created by the agency are on strategy and cost-effective to produce;

  • You will work closely with in-house and freelance creative teams to develop creative concepts;
  • You will oversee the development of copy for new business pitches;
  • You will recommend improvements and changes to the agency’s processes and procedures and employ best practices;
  • You will develop and grow the skills and experience of the creative team members and seek and hire new talent as required;
  • You will ensures concepts, rounds and final copy are correct and error free, including grammar, terminology, and spelling.
  • You will collaborate with Strategic Planning to incorporate consumer insights into concepts and executions.
  • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Rauxa’s creative culture.

Who you are:

  • You will have strong understanding of integrated direct marketing principles;
  • You will have strong understanding of strategic direction;
  • You will have excellent conceptual and copywriting skills;
  • You will have excellent knowledge of client business and creative landscape;
  • You will have proven staff management skills with experience in handling direct reports;
  • You will have the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detail;
  • You will work well as a team player in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • You will have excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • You will have excellent visual and verbal communication skills;
  • You will be highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Journalism, English or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum of 7 years experience as integrated marketing copywriter;
  • Robust cross-channel portfolio with a focus on direct marketing campaigns.
