Lead the strategic development and process within the agency and with clients to create a unified strategy across channels that provides a high value add to the client’s brand and product and sell through strategic visions and programs to clients.  Work with the Account Services team to develop and write the strategy section of job launch brief. Ensure all marketing and creative is on-strategy and on-brand. 

What you'll do:

  • Review client objectives and input and develop short and long-term integrated marketing strategies for the client;
  • Work cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful execution of client and agency strategies;
  • Work with Account Services team to develop and write strategy section of job launch brief;
  • Oversee the strategy of all client campaigns and projects, providing the Creative team direction to ensure the marketing and creative work is on-strategy and on-brand;
  • Review Creative concepts through round one and provide additional input or recommendations on client and project strategy;
  • Develop and deliver strategic client presentations;
  • Perform secondary research on industry trends, reports, and consumer trends to develop insights on performance and segmentation;
  • Provide cross channel reviews of other agencies’ work for existing clients;
  • Support the generation of new business and revenue opportunities by working with Account Services, Creative, and Database Strategy on strategic development;

Who you are:

Skill Set/Knowledge:

  • Advanced understanding of integrated marketing principles including digital, direct, brand and data based marketing;
  • Ability to assess and analyze client objectives to produce and recommend appropriate solutions;
  • Ability to synthesize information from various sources and extract key messages;
  • Highly creative with first-rate conceptual, visual and writing skills;
  • Superior oral communication and presentation skills,
  • Demonstrated client management skills and service orientation;
  • Highly resourceful, with strong research skills and a working knowledge of advanced marketing analytics;
  • Proactive and able to work independently;
  • Strong deadline orientation and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.


Education/Experience Required:

  • BA/BS Marketing or Communications degree, or equivalent work experience;
  • 5-10 years experience in creating, leading, and selling through digital, direct and/or integrated marketing strategies and solutions.
