The Senior Account Manager (Sr. AM )is responsible for directing and managing assigned client engagements and leading the RAUXA agency team to successful completion of all project work. The Sr. AM will oversee internal resources & agency leads assigned to a client engagement, with direct responsibility for delivering work on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.   More skilled in the fields of direct mail and digital marketing, they also act as a resource to other Account team members on project related tasks and client needs.  The ideal candidate will have outstanding project management skills, and be a motivated, strategic thinker with a proven track record of successful client management.  

What you'll do:

  • Act as the day-to-day client contact, focused on execution and project management.
  • Provide daily and weekly updates to all members of the assigned project team(s).
  • Represent RAUXA in all client & partner-agency communications on a weekly or daily basis.
  • Represent the voice of the client in all internal discussions.
  • Work with department leads to ensure all commitments are properly articulated to the assigned resources.
  • Develop detailed schedules, budgets and job launch briefs for all projects.
  • Write and distributes meeting notes to team members and clients.
  • Accurately manages budgets to maintain profitable projects & client accounts.
  • Track and monitors all hours associated with each assigned project.
  • Accurately identifies and assesses scope changes and their impact on the schedule and budget.
  • Develop and maintains expertise in all areas of an assigned client’s business.
  • Grow current client accounts by developing strategic recommendations that meet the client’s business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Supervise other Account Service team members, providing ongoing direction to ensure that all jobs are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Build lasting client and agency relationships.

Who you are:

  • You have outstanding project management skills. 
  • You have proven leadership ability and/or previous management experience. 
  • Posess a solid understanding of marketing best-practices, with specific experience within the interactive marketing and direct mail categories. 
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems creatively. 
  • Demonstrated data driven and digital marketing skills.
  • Demonstrated creative development experience. 
  • You have the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly dynamic atmosphere and react quickly to changes. 
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least six (6) years of work experience. 
  • Experienced with multiple marketing channels such as direct mail or print, email, and digital. 
  • Experienced with digital or advertising agencies.
