The Marketing Intelligence Analyst manages and documents data strategies for prospects and clients, including marketing strategy development, campaign strategy and reporting/analytics. This position is responsible for developing effective, executable, data-driven marketing strategies. The Marketing Intelligence Analyst provides an insight-driven perspective on marketing strategy and campaign execution that is based on analytics.



  • Reviews client objectives and input and develops short and long-term data marketing strategies for the client, including:
    • Campaign data strategies and test designs
    • Report metric identification and report review
    • Marketing data infrastructure development
  • Documents data marketing strategies at both the high level and campaign-specific level in analytic plans, data strategy briefs and in strategy sections of the job launch brief
  • Analyze marketing channel and website performance data for assigned projects and develop recommendations on ways to further optimize for performance
  • Build and distribute repeatable reports and performance metrics/insights on client marketing campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally to help inform the agency and clients on key learnings from data analysis
  • Works cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful execution of client and agency strategies, especially with Campaign Execution and Reporting/Analytics groups in Data Services
  • Reviews reporting/analytic outputs and provides insights and recommendations
  • Oversees activities of vendors utilized to support assigned projects ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries within prices quoted

Implements assigned projects / initiatives and manages them to timely completion


  • Able to perform in a highly analytical role delivering actionable marketing campaign insights
  • Highly analytical, focused on informing performance optimization based on gathering and examining data from multiple sources
  • Excel guru when it comes to creating charts, pivot tables, and presentations on multi-channel campaign performance
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business requirements and objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Organization and Project Management skills
  • Advanced understanding of data marketing principles for direct mail, email, digital and social marketing
  • Highly creative with first-rate conceptual, visual and writing skills
  • Strong deadline orientation and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in data driven marketing
  • Blend of technical and marketing experience in a Marketing Department or Agency environment preferred
  • Experience with campaign management and reporting tools preferred
